When I consider your heavens, the work of your fingers, the moon and the stars, which you have set in place, what is mankind that you are mindful of them, human beings that you care for them? Psalm 8:3-4
As we covered in an earlier article entitled “What is Evolution”, for Evolution Theory to be a correct assessment of origins, one of the six definitions of Evolution that must have occurred is Stellar Evolution. That means that the stars must have evolved and must still be forming and evolving.
Today, we will consider what Red Giants tell us about the age of the things.
The textbooks teach that it takes 100,000 years for a Red Giant to evolve into a White Dwarf. Is that true?
Not according to the evidence.
The brightest star in the night sky is the White Dwarf Star Sirius also called the Dog Star. However, it was observed nearly 2,000 years ago that Sirius was a red star.
All of the ancient astronomers described it as being red.
Cynica said it was red.
The Egyptian hieroglyphics say it was red.
Yet today, Sirius is a White Dwarf indicating that transition from a Red Giant to a White Dwarf happens in less than 2,000 years.
2. No Births
We have seen lots of stars blow up, but nobody has ever proven one star forming. Despite all the dreaming and hoping out there in the Crab Nebulae, it has never been observed.
Since we do not observe star births, they can only guess how a star might possibly form. They theorize that if 20 super novas blew up contemporaneously in close enough proximity, that would generate enough energy to create a star.
Now, lets think this through together.
20 of them have to explode before you can make one?
If you had to start out with 20 to make one, how did the first one or the following 19 ever get created?
If you have to lose 20 to gain one, how then did we get them all?
One way we know that it doesn’t take 100,000 years for a Red Giant to evolve into a White Dwarf is that stars are not evolving. All of the so-called star evolution is backwards and actually the opposite of evolution. It is going downhill, it is losing as is outlined in the 2nd Law of Thermodynamics–not gaining.
Red Giants like every other star were created by the Lord.
“The fact that a theory so vague, so insufficiently verifiable, and so far from the criteria otherwise applied in ‘hard’ science has become a dogma can only be explained on sociological grounds.” (Ludwig von Bertalanffy, biologist)
