Hi JT,

Thanks for attempting to set me straight. However, your analogy is as faulty and bogus as your claim to be a Christian.

The clear and understandable point I am making is that every time science demonstrates the creation of the earth could not have happened within the timeframe laid out by the evolution religion, they say, "Well, it happened longer ago and farther away." Ask any octogenarian what they were taught in grade school and you'll see I'm right.

The fact that you are choosing to pick a nit between the precise age of the earth and the minimum possible age only serves to demonstrate that:

A. You have no ability to detect a trend

and

B. You are hostile to the truth laid out in Scripture.

Next time, don't bother with the introductory smokescreen...you're not as clever as you think.

Indeed! I have several babies that are proof positive, that crying unattended has not scarred them for life. In fact, none of them remember it! HAH, I'M the one who remembers it! At least three of our children cried unconsolably, for hours at a time, for no discernable reason. I later discerned a reason in one of them, she had an autism spectrum disorder which was causing her to be constantly over-stimulated. Our current baby cries ALOT. I spend alot of time just holding him while he cries. Sometimes, we allow him to cry without being held, like when I have to care for other children, or go to the bathroom, or take a shower... you know.

Wah!! This is great. You've clearly never had a baby on the autism spectrum. :) I have six kids, of the six two of them couldn't sleep through just anything, despite how I might try to train them to do so, as you did. Praise God you were granted babies who sleep, but don't think for a second it was SOLELY because of your training methods. (This of course, is not to refute your training methods, the like of which I also employ. :) in general I would have to say that these methods are very useful. And pardon my snarky tone... I haven't slept in 6 nights, and no naps in 6 days! because baby #6 *snort*... won't have any of it... somehow, I'm not sure how to sleep while he is screaming, and nothing I do seems to prevent the screaming. You can pray for me though! Perhaps the Lord will grant a night or 6 of restful sleep lasting more than 2 hours at a stretch.
