“The best physical evidence that the earth is young is the dwindling resource that evolutionists refuse to admit is dwindling … the magnetic energy in the field of the earth’s dipole magnet … To deny that it is a dwindling resource is phoney science.” (Thomas Barnes Ph.D., physicist)
In a previous article, we discussed the inflation of the spinning matter that the Big Bang distributed after supposedly exploding in space. We covered how the size of the spinning matter went from a minimum of 12 trillion miles across in 1931 to nothing across; a “singularity” today.
As ridiculous as that sounds, the Age of the Earth in like fashion has also suffered unsustainable inflation. Every time Young Earth Creationists prove it could not have happened as the Evolutionist theorizes, they say “it must have happened longer ago and farther away.”
Below is the inflation of the age of the earth:
1770 – 70,000 years old
In 1770, George Buffon said the earth was 70,000 years old.
Integrated Principals of Zoology 1996 p. 151
1905 – 2,000,000,000 years old
The age of the earth was officially 2 billion years old.
Newsweek July 20, 1998 p.50
1969 – 3.5,000,000,000 years old
The official age of the earth and moon was 3.5 billion years old.
The Minneapolis Tribune, Monday August 25, 1969
2011 – 4.6,000,000,000 years old
Today students are taught it is 4.6 billion years old.
That means the earth has been getting older at the rate of 21 Million Years per year for the last 220 years!
Or better…40 YEARS A MINUTE!
Now THAT’S inflation!
“The theory of Evolution … will be one of the great jokes in the history books of the future. Posterity will marvel that so flimsy and dubious an hypothesis could be accepted with the incredible credulity it has.”
(Malcolm Muggeridge, well-known philosopher)
I should mention:
a) I’m a Christian
b) I don’t support Evolution.
But i must address your post:
I found the Newsweek source from 1998:
“1905 John William Strutt determines the age of a rock: 2 billion years, officially disproving James Ussher’s 1650 assertion that, according to Genesis, the universe was created on Oct. 22, 4004 B.C.”
This isn’t saying “the age of the earth is officially 2,000,000,000 years old.
It is saying “we found a rock on the earth that is 2,000,000,000 years old, so the earth’s age must be greater (or equal) to this date, and cannot be 6000 years old”
An analogy of the argument is as follows:
Doctor: you have a scar on your arm that looks to be about 2 weeks old
Patient: “Ha! So you think my official age is 2 weeks old?”
Doctor: ” ??? “
Hi JT,
Thanks for attempting to set me straight. However, your analogy is as faulty and bogus as your claim to be a Christian.
The clear and understandable point I am making is that every time science demonstrates the creation of the earth could not have happened within the timeframe laid out by the evolution religion, they say, “Well, it happened longer ago and farther away.” Ask any octogenarian what they were taught in grade school and you’ll see I’m right.
The fact that you are choosing to pick a nit between the precise age of the earth and the minimum possible age only serves to demonstrate that:
A. You have no ability to detect a trend
and
B. You are hostile to the truth laid out in Scripture.
Next time, don’t bother with the introductory smokescreen…you’re not as clever as you think.
